This course covers fundamental and advanced tactics of impact weapon application, developed over the past 16 years by the instructor for this course, Jared Wihongi. In addition to his international reputation as a Close Quarters Combat (CQC) Instructor, Jared is a student of multiple martial arts and combatives systems. He specializes in the impact weapon based combat arts of the Philippines. He has two decades of experience in law enforcement (both full-time and Reserve), most of which has been working on SWAT Teams and as a Use-of-Force Instructor.

Most Law Enforcement officers and armed security professionals carry at least one knife on their person when on duty. This is often true for Concealed Firearms Permit holders also.
